Do I need a care plan at all?
No. The site is yours and it will keep running without one. A plan exists so that updates, backups, security and small content changes are somebody's job rather than yours.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, up or down, from the following month. Send a message and it is changed — there is no notice period and no fee for switching.
What happens to my site if I cancel?
It stays yours. You get the files and the domain stays in your name; you can move it to any host. Only the monthly service stops.
